A good movie

“ To be honest, I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but, since it was starring Charlotte Rampling, I thought I might as well check it out. It was basically another rather obscure movie that I had like for years on my queue but, at some point, I thought I should stop postponing it l” read more

An average movie

“To be honest, I have never been a huge fan of this franchise but, since this installment was available on Netflix, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, even though this last sequel did receive some rather abysmal reviews, I thought it was actually surprisingly satisfying. One issue with thi” read more

The Odyssey
Release date (U.S.) : 17 July 2026 directed by : Christopher Nolan with : Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Matt Damon, Charlize Theron, Tom Holland, Lupita Nyong'o, Elliot Page, Jon Bernthal, Samantha Morton, John Leguizamo plot : Follows Odysseus in his perilous journey home after the Trojan War, showcasing his encounters with Polyphemus, the Sirens, Circe, and finishing with his reunion with his wife, Penelope. Why do I want to see this ? After the disappointing 'Tenet', the first misfire in a pretty much flawless career, Nolan made a major come-back in 2023 with 'Oppenheimer'. Even though he had some success with his historical features ('Dunkirk' was also a major critical success at the time), to be honest, I actually prefer when he gives us some really wild and ambitious SF feature. Anyway, even if he is going to give us another historical epic tale instead of some good old SF, this movie will still be my highest priority for 2026.

“I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but, since it was starring Angelina Jolie and since it seemed to have a decent reputation, I was quite eager to check it out. First of all, I have to admit that I didn’t know much about Gia Carangi and it was pretty cool to get to know her. How” read more

An average movie

“To be honest, I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but, since there was a decent cast involved and since it was available on Netflix, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, it turned out be a typical quirky indie comedy and, of course, they went for the road-trip genre which ” read more
