Notes: Seriously, it was quite terrible. I mean, it is pretty obvious that they wanted to go for some kind of a remake of 'Fatal Attraction' with a male stalker this time around but the end-result was just pathetic. Indeed, I don't think there was one single line of dialogue that wasn't truly laughable. Furthermore, if the whole point of the movie was to have a mature woman having sex with a high-school student, then they shouldn't have picked up an actor who was almost 30 years old. Concerning Jennifer Lopez, I can understand the appeal of showing up in an erotic thriller and proving to the world that she is still a really hot MILF but maybe she should try in the future something that requires some actual acting skills. 7 years, 6 months ago

Notes: Since this movie has a really solid reputation, I was really eager to check it out and I had some rather high expectations. Well, eventually, it turned out to be a decent stoner comedy but definitely not the best in the genre and I much more enjoyed 'Friday' and 'Pineapple Express'. I mean, I didn't mind the randomness, it obviously goes with the territory, it was above all the fact that the jokes were just so hit-and-miss. I have to admit that some of the scenes were indeed quite hilarious but many jokes were barely amusing. Furthermore, the whole concept of the truck made of weed was a rather weak idea and I think it would have been more fun to have these two stoners endlessly looking for some weed and getting in trouble in the procress. On top of that, I had a rather hard time to care about the characters. Indeed, Cheech and Chong were not bad but not really amazing and the supporting characters were even less entertaining. Anyway, even though it didn't live up to my expectations, it was still a decent comedy.7 years, 6 months ago
